Jansen JX-72RS
is a new addition to our line of shredders. Working with this unit is a real pleasure thanks to the hydraulic feeding system. With this model, feeding, pushing, etc. are a thing of the past; 2 feed rollers take care of this themselves. The speed of the feed rollers can be smoothly adjusted using a control valve. It is important to adjust the feeding speed to the diameter of the material being shredded. Smaller diameters can be fed faster than larger diameters.
If the feeder jams, you can reverse the feed using the large handle on the tank. Additionally, you can turn off the feed using this handle. The unit is driven by the tractor's hydraulics; a pressurized supply line and a non-pressurized return line are required, or alternatively a double-acting control unit and a flow rate of at least 10 l/min.
The shredder is complete with PTO. There is also a shear pin built into one side of the power take-off which, for safety reasons, serves as a fixed breaking point in the event of a blockage or overload. This means that even larger tractors with power above 100 HP can be used without any problems.
You should have an engine with at least 55 HP. The PTO speed must be 540 rpm.
The hopper has an opening at the top measuring 91x70 cm; the hole at the bottom measures 21x29 cm. It can shred fresh wood with a maximum diameter of approx. 16 cm. Many competitors list the maximum chopping diameter as a measurement of the bottom of the hopper, but this value is unrealistic and may trigger a safety mechanism in the PTO.
The rear part of the hopper can be easily lifted and secured with a pin, making transportation easier.
The device has a very easy-to-maintain design; you can open the flywheel cover completely by unscrewing just one screw, giving you access to the 4 cutting blades. These cutting blades are double-sided, so they can be rotated if necessary. The flywheel has a net weight of 96 kg and is equipped with blades that create extremely powerful suction that ultimately removes chips from the chute. Thanks to such high suction power, it is virtually impossible to block the grinding unit.
The discharge chute is approximately 217 cm high (plus the height of the lower link) and can be rotated 360 degrees. The throwing angle can also be easily changed. Jansen JX-72RS can throw chips up to 5 meters!

ATTENTION
:
The device is delivered well packed in a steel frame. Approximately 1 hour should be allocated for final assembly. The scope of delivery includes a German operating manual and an exploded drawing. Assembly is usually not a problem, but it is recommended that two people do the assembly.
